Bigamy:  Having two wives or husbands at a time


 

It is the concept of marriage with one person while still legally married to anotherone. it means marriage with a person while already having husband or wife it is called bigamy


Celibacy:      State of abstention from marriage


Celibacy is called the state of being unmarried with her or him wish, sexually abstinent, or both, usually for religious reasons. It is often found in all major religion in the search of god 

 


Concubinage       Live-in relationship without being married 

 

A relationship between a man and a woman in which the couple are not in state of marriage or A man who has another sexual relationship in spite of having wife is termed as concubinage 


Misogamist:    The one who hates marriage 


Misogamy is an aversion or hatred of marriage the one who hates the concept of marriage is called the misogamist


 

Matrimony    A state of being married

 

When two persons make their relationship in public, official, social and permanent. 

It is the joining of two people in a bond of love and pure relationship it is called marriage or matrimony


Monogamy  Marrying one at a time


The practice of marrying or state of being married to one person and having one wife or husband is called monogamy


Polygamy  Marrying more than one wife/husband at a time

 


Polygamy is the practice of marrying multiple spouses. T

When a man is married to more than one wife at the same time, is called polygyny. 


Polyandry  Marrying more than one husband at time


A woman is married with more than one husband at a time, it is called polyandry


Spinister    An older woman who is not married


A single woman who is old enough to be married but she is not married yet is called a spinster.
